To increase sales and conversion rate on your website, you need to test and optimize each page and flow. Some testing software are dedicated to this optimization process.

You can usually create two versions of a page and do A/B testing to know which one performs better. There is also mutivariate testing to maximize conversions and understand adequate changes to do. Heatmaps or clickmaps help you to see what visitors are clicking on. A lot of different metrics and reports are generated from these website optimizer tools.

  • Will you be updating this table to compare to Optimize 360 - Google's new optimization and personalization tool?

  • Hello @Tom, thanks for your comment, in my opinion this current list should focus on this kind of software/services (I have renamed the comparison with "Website A/B Split testing", maybe do you have a better suggestion?). I believe it is better to create more specific comparison charts on other optimization tools in order to keep this table readable. But actually on you can create different comparison views.. so we could have both a general big table grouping all these tools, and several small tables more focused on a specific optimization type.... If you know other interesting tools worth to mention here, do not hesitate to update this table or create a new list ! Thank you!

Couple thoughts and ideas for the table creator and community... Since there are many different types of tools that "optimize websites" in one way or another (code validation, search/meta, page load speed, IA, content, conversion, usability, etc), and the number of them seems to be continually growing, do you think the title of this particular comparison table should be renamed so that it's more specific to the five tools that are currently listed? -OR- Should this table become the main repository for *ALL* types of web testing/optimization tools — which would mean that the features and table data would need to differentiate the various types of tools? I've bookmarked dozens of these types of tools, and would be happy to add them — I'm just not sure if they belong here, in another table, or in several different tables.
