Conditions to applyawarding a less than 3 years old firm for its innovation, its dynamism, its influence and its growth potential in a close future.LAUNCH 1.0 This competition is for completely new companies that have never had any press, public demos and whose services are currently in closed alpha or beta. LAUNCH 2.0 This competition is for existing companies that are launching new products, or significant new versions of an existing product.New companies that are ready for launch, but are not yet well known. These are companies that have a product or service available (as of June 7, 2011), but have not been out in the marketplace for more than a few months.The Contest is open to: (a) individuals or sole proprietors; or (b) privately held businesses that have not received more than $2.5 million in outside financing.To compete in the Startup Battlefield, at time of application submission startups must be live for fewer than three months, less than two years old.
